We need both a RW and CB if we don't get both then that's not good enough.

If Miguel Almiron played like Anthony Gordon today, you'd absolutely hammer him. We missed him today.

Trippier is the best right back we have had for many decades, crazy how fans seem happy for him to go.

Great review fellas 🙌🏻, that Longstaff tackle on Brereton after the Schar red card was brilliant, the crowd reaction was immense 😃

Great feedback Liam. Good to see you not papering over the cracks.
Why play Gordon if he's not fit - he's played 50 mins since May. Barnes should have started.
When Schar goes off should we have reverted to 4-4-1.
Guehi at £70 million is way too much - did you see that goal Slovakia scored against England? Guehi was at fault twice in the build up.
Re the service for Isak - I would like to see us go 4-4-2 against Bournemouth:
Pope
Tino, Burn, Kelly, Hall
Murphy Longstaff Joelinton Barnes
Osula Isak.
Bruno and Gordon aren't fit enough and don't forget we only got 20 points away from home last season so we need to be water-tight at the back.

The rule that sent Schar off apparently says
"A player who when not challenging for the ball deliberatly strikes an opponent or any other person on the head or face with the hand or arm is guilty of voilent conduct unless the force used was negligible."
It was certainly negligible so the Ref shouldn't have sent him off. NUFC should use this to appeal against the sending off and the 3 match ban.

Guys nice to see you back! As far as Guehi concerned it’s amateur hour that we have allowed it to be played out in media! I was uncomfortable at 55m never mind 70m. Parish has made us look like chumps and mugs. I certainly expect better from the owners of our club. 10 men and 3 points a huge bonus. We also still have the deadwood sponging off the club. Last season January window and this summer window is abysmal! We also need to find out what’s happening with stadium. Are the Saudi’s really in this for the long haul? First game and rusty to say least. Big Joe was immense. Being fit and match fit are two different things. We are undefeated but still a lot of work to do. HWTL

Schar has done what players do every 5 games, players go forehead to forehead. That law is not right, Schar never intended to hurt or even lost his head, he just stood him up which wouldn't have been a red last season. The officials decided that. Newcastle should appeal, I could flick somebody and cause more damage. There was zero intent.

Tripper is worth more to us (in playing contribution - which ultimately translates to league position and money) than £10m or so in transfer fee.

Joelinton - first name on the team sheet.

We should work out our best offer for Guehi offer and if rejected move on to other targets. I was happy with malick Thiaw, thought it made a lot of sense

Eddie Howe and his love for overpriced English and/or injury prone players is CRIPPLING us with PSR. How can’t the club see that we could bring in a top RW like Asprilla from Watford and a top CB from Europe for that £65M they have bid on Guehi? This is all cause Howe wants over priced players constantly.

Lads why aren’t you asking these kind of questions to plant the seed in his head? Yous have a chance to say to him “why has every position been upgraded since the takeover apart from RW” or yous can ask “couldn’t that £65M be used for 2 or 3 players from Europe? Why do we need to spend excessively on 1 position” — it’s soo frustrating hearing reporters ask pointless questions when fans want to know the answers to so many things that could be asked.

Howe doesn’t realise that buying Guehi for £65M leaves no room to make a profit on him in a world of PSR. I genuinely think Darren Eales has alot to answer for, he’s allowing this shite to happen.

Thanks lads, great content. First game, first win, first Oscar nomination (Diaz)! Not a great spectacle but 3 points.
If Everton do want Trippier would it then be a better deal to use him as part of a bid for Branthwaite?

Tonali when up to speed should plug that gap we have in midfield

But what Southampton did having rotating players dropping deep / stepping up gave them that extra man in midfield was very simple but extremely effective

Win will do me . They will grow into it after a few games and get up to pace. Joel was unreal big power house. Gordon off but that will come back isak needs a goal to kick start him . We will be ok. Need a cb and rw sorting though.

Don't get all of the positivity ..

That performance was POOR!

Even 11v11 we were getting played off of the park, we should of lost 3 or 4-1.

10 men or not it was a carbon copy of Forest, Luton etc.

And I mean the positivity on social media, not you guys.

NOTHING has changed.
