I think that one of the greatest gifts music has to offer is the ability to make us FEEL something. So much of the music that is popular today can't do that. It may be catchy - and hey, I like to listen to some of it - but it's thin...and it's hollow. The songs that have stuck with me throughout the years have always been the ones that evoke emotion. When I write, the thought that my music might make someone else feel something is so fulfilling. I listen to Kaleo, and their music goes thru me. I feel it inside. It resonates. That's what truly great music does.

Im a 72 year old man & my wife first heard them on the end of an NCIS episode & found out who they were, I am now completely hooked, growing up with great bands like Yes, Fairport, Jethro Tull, Free these guys are great & the lead singer what a range, I'd love to see them live

I remembered a day I was weeping while driving that this song played on my YouTube mixed music for the first time. This song literally wiped my tears as if it sang to my very sorrowful soul. I was at last peaceful within myself on that winterly lonely night. I still listen to it every now and then. Thank you😘
