I am from Uttarakhand and also qualified NCC C certificate with A grade till my PG, I missed my time when selected for OTA in 2006, but hard luck in medical. After my batch some of my friends selected in the subsequent batches and still serving in Indian army as lt.col. I still remember my hard luck even same happened in Air force after my PABT. Later i selected in cabinet secretariat (R&W) as DFO then in SFO(ARC). And i have to left it because of corruption and no powers given to us by earlier governments. But now living my life in some corner and doing job in pvt. Sector to earn and support my family my daughter. But trust me I never forget those memories how enthusiastic we were to serve our nation which is still somewhere inside the heart.
