Phnom Penh Night Life 2024 - I tried to make a night life video but went home early, shocked at the high prices in comparison to Pattaya, Thailand where I live.

Whilst the people were lovely I just couldn't come at the quoted price of drinks.

Obviously this was a quick low budget trip to Phnom Penh and the average tourist would likely travel to Cambodia / Phnom Penh with a bit more spending money! The ambience of the place is fabulous and I can highly recommend visiting Phnom Penh for both the night life, the dance clubs and of course the rich culture.

Phnom Penh - I will be back!!

i was 10 months solo through Taiwan, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Phillipines last year. Great way to roll. I returned to PPenh this year because i love it. IMO Cambodia is the best beer in SEA. And you have a chance to win a free beer every time you open a can.

I love travelling alone. Forces you out of your comfort shell. Wasn't always like that but sure is now. Thankfully for me I'm an extrovert so meeting people has never been a problem.

Take grab and not tuk tuk. cheaper and more comfortable. If you like girlie bars, stick to st 136 as that is the epic center. Not all girls can be brought back. Just ask them before buyng the drinks. will save you tons of cash and frustration. If you want normal bars, go bassac lane. if you 8/10 looking girls go Darling Darling at Nagaworld. they have a great band there too. Neber go into those massage shops.

Solo traveled, Ukraine, Russia, czech republic, Spain, Italy, India, then lived 5 years Thailand, 2 years Vietnam, 2 years Philippines and 1 in Cambodia, took 15 years. Best way to travel. I have been to many other places not listed on this singular trip.

I love traveling alone but yeah it could be lonely at times...he he! But, it is easier to move around...imho. I haven't been to Cambodia yet but its on my travel bucket list.

I did a month in Thailand last year alone cos my mate broke his foot a few days before the flight.
Never felt lonely the whole time it was great.
It does get a bit draining having to watch you own back and having no one to help sometimes though.
But much rather that than staying home and doing nothing 👍🏻

I had to do a visa run 2022, so though sod it i'll fly phnom penh..i booked a hotel on st136, actually top end of "that strip" of bars..😬 Definatley daunting compared to Thailand.Sat on that landing for a beer, and 7 girls followed me upstairs.I bought a few drinks for me and 1 girl.I prefer Thailand.😄🙏

Yoo ! You made it out to pontoon alone like a champ 👊😎 haha, that little restaurant you were sitting is probably the only legit joint without ladies … then right in front of it there’s the 7/11 where you buy beer and ice and just drink with random people at the tables in front 😂

As for traveling alone; I think being pushed out of our comfort zone is what’s makes us better traveller’s… Getting a proper visa has made me lazy 100% ! It shows in my travels and the fact I haven’t dropped shit in 6 months 😂

Absolutely love traveling alone. All around $$ remain low. Cheers with the beer. Absolutely love all the neon lights, including on the boats. I have heard that the busiest time is from 12am until 3/4am (( like Bui Vien )) Excellent Day 2
