Thanks for watching the Tom Did It channel.

Ahead of my mechanic inspection I find that the hydraulic rear brake switch is faulty and needs to be replaced. I install an OEM switch that fixes the issue.
During the replacement of the switch, one thing leads to another and I end up completing a full service and meticulous clean on both brakes.

Hope you enjoy!

Awesome series! I recently took over an RS125 as well and have been tinkering with small maintenance bits and improvements. The bike has some rusted screws and bolts that I intend to replace but they aren't top priority at the moment.

I have a question on the use of grease vs normal oils/spray on lubricants. I took apart my brake and clutch lever screws while adjusting their height/angle to fit my foot placement, during that time I did what you did which was clean off all the parts from the gunk. When putting them back however, I noticed you used grease. As I didn't have grease, I just used a GT85 as a temporary lubricant. When should I use grease and how do I differentiate its usage with other less heavy spray on lubricants?

Great video, have the same issue on mine. I've got a late one on a 2012 but I'm sure the part will be the same. What year is your bike?

Why have you chosen the diablo rosso tyre? isn't it "too good" for the RS125?

My question is, does the pistons in back caliper wind back in to sit flush with caliper ?I changed my back disc but can’t get caliper pistons to go back in enough to get the caliper and pads back on
