But, there are 3 things that I wanted to add related to the difference between Paper VS Computer.
As I recently gave the IELTS test I experienced this difference that might be important for some -
1) Listening test - Paper-based: we get about 10 minutes extra to write down our answers from the rough paper into the main one while in Computer-based: we have to immediately type the answer on the computer as we don't get the extra 10 minutes - it's just 2 minutes to have a brief look.
2) Speaking test - Computer-based: There is a person sitting in front of us who are asking questions, we don't speak to the computer, but that person does not give the score, our voice is recorded in the recorder and is sent away to be marked by someone else.
3) Time - Computer-based: There is a timer on the screen, but a very important thing to note that is as soon as the time gets over the exam program shuts down within a second, thus one has to be careful about editing his/her answers. ( I scored 8.5 in all categories except Writing due to this time management mistake)
