In this video, Steve takes you through his list of the 5 worst performing golf balls on the recent comprehensive robot testing.

One ball is actually 39 yards SHORTER than the longest premium brand!

These golf balls are slower and shorter, requiring more clubhead speed, and they aren't as straight or consistent either.

To see my top 5 BEST GOLF BALLS:

To see how I got my top 5 worst list, watch this video:

Maximize your shoulder turn with the POWER COIL PRO! Gain 5-10 mph in 5-10 minutes as part of Steve's 'Magic Drill Sequence':

I've put together a complete program to teach you the Mike Austin Golf Swing, increase your clubhead speed, and hit it solid and pure.. Check it out here:

I love the guys who only play Titleist proV1's and refuses to play anything else because they thinks it's the best, but they cant break 100.

They're all terrible. None of them go where I want them to.😉

I trade a Topflite for a Prov1x or a TP5 every time I go into the rough looking for my shot. It's a pretty good system if you ask me

I got a box of top Flites for Xmas last year. I loved them. Every time I lost one I found at least 3 more top flites looking for it

I stopped watching when he put Kirkland on his best and worst list. Pick one!

Dude I don't know where you're getting your info but the chrome soft is one of the best balls. I've tried all the premium balls and the problem with the pro v1 is if you have a slower swing speed and miss hit them they are awful for control. I found the best distance and accuracy in the chrome soft. I play them and the super soft when I'm on an unfamiliar course just cuz they are a little cheaper.

Noodle seem to me just as good as ProV1, much more distance and very consistent spin rate into the greens. My theory is; deduct your handicap from the price of a dozen ProV1 and thats your limit per dozen. $45-20 hdcp=$25 per dozen max.

I play the Maxfli Tour X. I’ve had very good results-distance, spin, and feel, are(to me), on par with any ball I’ve tried. You can usually get 2 dozen for $50.

Golf isn’t all about long and straight off the tee. Yes it helps to have distance but you also need green side control. To each their own but remember the saying “drive for show” “chip and putt for dough”. Everyone just needs to find that right ball that has a combination of both for their own individual game.

How can I take this serious if a ball on the top 5 best list is also on your bottom 5 list?

I read a Golf Digest article a few years back that tested a bunch of golf balls that had been in the water for three years and they found very little degradation.

Very interesting. I am a 5 handicap and I have never been able to notice much difference at all in golf balls. I have had quite a few rounds in the mid-70s with TopFlite D2 Feel. I seem to hit the Bridgestone B330, Callaway ERC soft, ProV1x and TP 5X the furthest in that order. But when it is all said and done, a solid hit gets them all within 5 yards. I love Chrome soft as well and I can't believe that it is that much shorter than the others.

I'm confused?... You include a ball (Kirkland) in this video with headline "avoid at ALL COST" but then offer a reason why you could use it?.... Frankly, I've played several rounds with Kirkland and find it to be a very good ball.

I love Maxfli Tour balls. I’ve been playing maxfli’s since the old Blue Dot days.

I’ve been playing the new Kirkland and it seems that it is a little bit shorter than the pro v1. Not a bad thing though because it doesn’t go as far into the trees when I hit it

Bridgestone e6 soft feel for me nowadays just as good as anything high ended priced

Bridgestone Tour BXR is my favorite ball. The E6 soft model is a nice cheap alternative that I really enjoy

I've had great success with the AVX, better than pro v1 and pro v1x

I’ve tested a few at my swing speed 72/74mph. The Wilson Duo Soft was 9 yards longer (avg of 12 shots) over a pro v1
