-in this clip i was just going for distance, ive completed a couple Trevor% speedruns and i dont use this strat bc its too unpredictable for me.

As a casual, powered breakboosting is still one of the most satisfying things to do in the entire game.

How to brake boost - When you go over a bump/hill that just doesn’t lift your wheels off the ground, tap the brakes while still holding the gas. If your wheels spin and leave skid marks, you got the boost.
Why it works - To make driving easier and more satisfying, the devs decided to give cars an acceleration boost when they do a burnout so that throttle control isn’t as important. When you do a brake boost, you take advantage of the burnout thing at a higher speed/gear and get a larger boost.

I always drag race other players on the long road next to the casino. It’s full of small bumps. What I do when I launch is I double clutch and then tap the brake every time I hit a small bump. Easy win

In my opinion, the most broken mechanic in GTA, like jesus christ, you can even use your weapons in Franklin's Ability (provided you are on a car or a motorcycle) and still shoot like as if you're playing michael

this reminds me of the old Mario Kart on Og DS where you’d powered slide and boost. it basically looks like you’re snake drifting the entire time but it’s actually the fastest way to drive in that game. ahhh the good ole days back in 2005. times were simpler.

I swear Franklin's power is the only reason that I still play the campaign. I can spend legit hours taking different cars and brake boosting them and curb boosting them around the entire city to see how fast I can go.
