Christmas at Fredrikstad Gamlebyen - City Tour & Drone, 4k

Показать описание
When snow falls in the Oslo Fjord, the old part of the city of Fredrikstad, which is located on the eastern bank of the Glomma River, becomes especially fabulous!
All the locals' dream of a "White" Christmas! Since snow does not always happen here due to the warm climate. And it is especially joyful when the snow coincides with Advent weekend because it is on such weekends that the Christmas market opens in the old town!
You can wander around it, buy some cute souvenirs and gifts, or admire the gingerbread city that the children made.
The old town of Fredrikstad, or Gamlebyen as it is called, is one of the best-preserved walled cities in Scandinavia. Erected in 1567 by the decree of King Frederick II in the traditions of Dutch architecture, the city has practically not changed its appearance - from ancient Renaissance buildings and cobbled streets to high earthen ramparts and ditches filled with water. On the Royal Square, there is a monument to the founding king Fredrik II, it is here that the central Christmas tree is placed and the center of the Christmas market is located.
Today we invite you to walk with us through the old town of Fredrikstad and feel the atmosphere of a cozy and relaxing Christmas in Norway.
We hope you enjoy traveling with us, feel free to ask your questions and write your wishes in the comments, we are always pleased to read them! ;)
