I've had this phone for 2 months now and here's what I have to say:

Battery life is amazing! This is the first phone I've ever seen get 11 hours of screen on time in my life! The display still looks crisp even at 720p and I like the slightly warmer color temperature, but that's quite subjective. The speaker is decent at best and could be slightly louder, but its not as quiet as Lanh described. The 2 GB of RAM is a nice touch since I have not seen apps force close once on this device. I love having 5 MP on the front, great for selfies and video conferencing (but tops out at 720p which is a little weird). The back camera is fine in auto as well, though he is right about macro focusing not being the greatest. Call quality is great so long as AT&T has good coverage in your area, though I wish the earpiece was a tad louder. As for holding the phone, it can be slippery sometimes, but I mainly have a case on mine (a frosted TPU style is great to keep it sleek, but adds texture). All and all its one of the best in its class, though the new ASUS Zenfone lineup is looking like stiff competition when it comes stateside. Just wish this was getting Lollipop but until then, I'm fine using launchers since KitKat has not let me down as an OS yet.

Straight-forward review, if we focus on the pros & cons you point out. I got a Samsung Grand Prime, not bad. but I like the size,  camera and battery of ZTE, it's a good selling point for me, at least.  Cricket has it for $169.99 pre-school opening promo.  After 6 months, they get it unlocked for free, and I can upgrade if I don't like it.

I got the zte grand Max plus for over a year and still work smooth as the first day I bought it to bad zte decided not to do a next generation for this phone to freaking bad

I got this phone and i like it alot… the only problem and ive read alot of reviews from. People is the speaker and its pretty weak but i can live with that… performance wise i like it… pretty fast and smooth.. Looks great on pics… i use to have cricket when it was the old cricket but once att bought them out i can see the difference of speed… i have xfinity wifi at home and theres sometimes i have to turn. My wifi off so my phone can run faster… weird i know but i do recommend this to anyone if they r looking for a big screen phone…

I know the first version of this phone wouldn't let you store apps on the external SD card. Only music and video. Will this plus version allow you to move apps to the external SD card???? If so, I'll go buy one right now.
