I agree that the if you own the Air 3, its probably not worth upgrading to the Air 3s. But if own an older drone, it might be worth considering. Thanks for sharing Vic.

OK, so the extra lens is not for a closer zoom, but just a bigger sensor with fixed aperture? I had thought they would give us a better telephoto lens to get better optical close images and control over depth of focus.
The much larger bulk of this Air 3S is also a dead loser for my uses of the drone. Where I live flying at night is completely illegal so the better night-time flying and low-light resolution are barely of any value to me.
I am glad I passed on this. I really would not want to spend all the extra and am very happy continuing to use the Air2S.

I skipped it too!…not a big enough upgrade from the Air 3 to justify the purchase…plus all the footage I seen the Air 3s tends to over saturate the image compared to the Air 3 more neutral image

Next time when U create a video try putting some background music, the case is some audio devices (i.e. Audio receivers) turn on/turn off theirs circuits when there is an audio track in video but they need some time to heat up so they "cut" some seconds of this audio. And that is why watching your video with inconsistent audio is a torture. Make an audio track from start to an end next time. Davinci has AI that would automatically do audio ducking so no fuss at all. Thnx.

I have a Air 3 that I purchased in February of this year. Since I’m an amateur drone pilot I have no monetary benefit whatsoever from my drone so I can’t really justify upgrading for a slightly better drone. I will admit that due to the ability to use my Air 3 batteries and the RC 2 the RC-N3 version of the Air 3S is a possibility to upgrade perhaps sometime next year.
