For the second one, it’s a heartbreaking story. The sisters were trying to make 1, 000 paper cranes to grant a wish- to get better from the sickness. I didn’t cry, but I was heartbroken. Bless them ❤

explanation for “A Folded Wish”
( I don’t know it exactly so please don’t be mad at me if I get it wrong)
But basically there is a Japanese legend that if you fold 1000 paper cranes you would get one wish. Both sisters were sick so they decided to try it and each girl would wish for the other girl to be healed. The first girl successfully folded 1000 cranes and wished for her sister to be healed. After her sister was healed, the first girl became more sick. As her sister was dying, the second girl desperately tried to finish her 1000 cranes but her last crane ripped and it was too late to save her sister.

For those who don’t get the 2nd story, I’m pretty sure I’ve heard it before. It’s the sad story of two little girls who were very close and then got an incurable sickness, but there’s a legend that if they make 1000 oragomi cranes, they’ll be cured. And the sister was making her 1000 crane when she suddenly ripped it and died. Truly heart breaking 💔

Context for those that don't understand the one with the origami, there's a myth that if you fold 1, 000 origami cranes you will get 1 wish, the sister that died folded 1, 000 of them to wish for her sister (the one that lived) to survive.

I don't think people understood the meaning of the origamis. 1, 000 paper cranes and a wish is granted. I just kinda learned what it meant recently from watching Dead to Me. It's an ancient Japanese tradition called “Senbazuru, ” which promises that should a person fold 1, 000 paper cranes, their wish will be granted.
