I've had a lifelong interest in aviation and space exploration never got my permanent pilot license because of a undiagnosed medical issue but I've always continued to live the dream., even when I couldn't. I actually got a chance to watch the launch of Apollo 13 in person as a member of a Boy Scout Troop on a field trip from Atlanta growing up. I remember exactly where I was during Challenger, Columbia, Falcon heavy, Bob and Doug and now this. I am going to be sitting in my apartment watching this on my phone filled with pride, Joy and yes there will be tears

Won’t be popular, but this was the best video in a long time with no Alex. This felt professional, good knowledge and voices suited for this. Well done!

I'm looking forward to the launch and I hope it goes well because it will look cool, but the fact that nearly everything you can see of the rocket will be destroyed just takes all the joy out of it. And the huge in-efficient bureaucracy behind it just makes you want to cry haha, the SLS simply should not exist, it is an obsolete rocket in the awkward transitional period to reusable rockets . Im so glad SpaceX exists and is going to make fully re-usable rockets a reality, when Starship and the booster stick the landings I will be jumping around my room cheering!

NASA cutting edge space rocket technology here! NASA did switch everything from analog to digital but it was a fight to do so over! They simple do not make mechanic gauges anymore!

Beresheet launched to the Moon surface from 39A. Not a good landing, but it did arrive.

Everything wrong with old space summed up, this rocket is actually separate vehicles with separate systems from separate manufacturers that don't talk to each other directly, and might lose contact at various points while switching systems. The system program is different for the unmanned and manned missions, how are they testing the system if it's a different system? Like custom building cars before Henry Ford's assembly line.

Praying this all finally happens. So long and terribly over priced. This needs to be a success. I have real fears.

Wish they would just scrap this thing and put the funds into Starship. Unfortunately SLS is obsolete and too expensive. Reusability is the future.

@ 45:05 he mentioned that they can't get in a hurry and just shoot it off. I agree that even if it's delayed, there will be good reasons. Being in a hurry is what blew up the Challenger.

@NASASpaceflight >>> It was mentioned near the end of the stream that the Orion capsule and service module {and associated 'stuff'} will be the largest vehicle to make it to the Moon.

I realize I am kind of "picking the fly s**t out of the pepper" by asking this, but wouldn't the SATURN S-IVB {Saturn 3rd stage} technically be the LARGEST vehicle to reach the Moon?
