Pro Tip with Spencer Rivkin - B6.1 Platforms

Today, I will be discussing a common misconception when people build their Team Associated B6.1 buggy. What I'm covering in this video is making sure everything on your Team Associated ride, whether it be a B6.1 or a SC6.1 moves freely. This Pro Tip doesn't just apply to the B6.1, it applies to most of past and current platforms that Team Associated offers.

Nice trick, I noticed the same thing on my B64 but sanded the part instead of doing this. I will try this next time to see if the car steering blocks is as smooth by itself. Big thanks Spencer.

Nice tip. Question As a 1st time RC race buggy builder: how "tight" should all my steering assemblies be, not so much in desired rotational movement, but transverse slop in screw/washer/block stack ups? Got a used B6.3D as a 1st time builder/racer and is hard to tell if is supposed to be that loose or if parts are worn out or assemblies are incorrect, even for a Mechanical Engineer w/ a masters. Haven't done a full strip down and stock rebuild yet, but maybe that will tell.

How about the optional set screw to hold the hinge pin with the caster inserts? I believe the set screw will poke thru the caster inserts..

Are the front shock tower hole locations the same? Can I use the b6.1 front shock tower on the b6?
