How do you defend or dodge against overhead throw punch?

I literally used this to defend myself in a street fight yesterday! a guy was yelling homophobic slurs and death threats at me so I called him on, and got nto a boxing stance with a long guard up as he marched towards me, fists clenched, intending to intimidate and walk me down...As soon has he touched my long guard I slipped and hit him with an overhand with my rear left (im southpaw) which knocked him to the ground and as he was falling back I hit him with a lead hook. He literally bounced off the sidewalk and he went into the shadow realm for a second. It was almost a walk of KO, lol

Its not that punch. Golovkin punches with a left hand, but with this old technique you cannot do this. Golovkin uses a western techique for that. Show your left hook on a heavy bag and it will be the end of story - no need fairytales about swimming, elbows, toes, heels and etc.
