to be fair the action WAS faithfully adapted from the manga. They even had the page flip. Just a little too faithfully.

I'm a huge fan of BlueLock, but is the first time I genuinely think a show should be cancelled, the studio to walk away, and maybe one day the whole thing be remade by a capable studio, I just think the U20 arc deserve better and 8bit won't do it, it's just not gonna happen

For those who haven't known yet, anime production is different from Hollywood production. Basically, in an anime industry, the [Director] is the one who is responsible for 99% of the quality because [Director] is the one who draws or approves the final version of a frame. Most of the time, [Director] is the one who draws the most of key frames (frame that is important) while the rest of the employees will draw the in between frames.

Blue Lock ss2 has lost nearly every director before the 1st episode which means that there is something wrong about the deadline, the condition, the environment, etc and without director, the quality of an anime drops instantly.

at this point put season 2 on hiatus for a couple months and give the animators more time until this show gets the animation it deserves

One animator who posted on reddit said that their animations were edited by people higher up in order to cut corners, the animators likely did a great job but they can’t prove it anymore

Fun fact: Even with some JJK S2 episodes being rushed post-hiatus (14~18 respectively, especially 18) it still had better and MORE animation than all the currently available Episodes of BL S2 combined.
