Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Palette Comparison & Swatches

Here I just kind of show you a comparison between the Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 palette and the original Naked Basics palette, as well as swatches. I am very excited to have another neutral basic palette that I can take when I travel.

I never went for the three main palletts after wanting the first two a few Christmas's ago and not getting it I told myself I didn't need any of them. With the price rise it just isn't in my budget but you being the only person sharing the two basics I am intrigued. Provided I clear out what I have now I may start fresh with these.

Thank you for the swatches!  I don't have the first one but I am considering the new one because it just looks more cool-toned and taupe-y.  I also think it would be great for me to use with my Naked 2 that I am PP'ing but the idea of buying a new palette to help me pan another palette seems silly LOL Since I am assuming that this is not limited edition I have time to decide.  I keep trying to hold off buying anything until after all the holiday collections make their appearance because that's when I shop like a mad woman LOL  And yes a tutorial would be great!!!

Oh man, I really need the Basics xD Only, now that I have seen your video, I am not sure which one I want. Luckily, 29 the third is rolling around sooner rather than later, so maybe I will just ask for a gift certificate so I can pick up both :D

I was in Ulta today but they didn't have it :( I should have checked the Sephora in my JCP. I can't wait to get this palette because I know it's something I will use quite a bit, I love the first one!

Skimp is what I used as a dupe for Virgin when I ran out of it if anyone is interested.  I had the EXACT same payoff and color on my eyes

I dont think i would own both but im pretty sure i would also prefer the 2nd one! Ahhh i need to buy a new UD palette! The swatches were great BTW!

I can't decide if i want the basics 2nd palette... I have the first one and I love it, but I just can't decide if I will actually use it!!! I have the naked original and naked 3 but not naked 2.AHH

the first one didn't have shades that were dark enough for me and this one i think is too cool toned (naked 2 is my least favorite of the three).  hope they release a naked 3 around the holidays or something! thanks for the swatches!
