Nice video mate - just used it to sort out my phone! Couple of things that I had to do extra:
1) I had to get the Samsung USB drivers via google (wasn't in your description but easy enough to find :)
2) After I had flashed my phone with Odin I couldn't get into the TWRP so I had a google around and found the following that worked for me (I had already copied across the Lineage files so once I was in TWRP I could install straight away): "Common problem installing TWRP on most Samsung devices is that on reboot, the stock recovery will overwrite TWRP.
To get around it, untick Auto Reboot in Odin, flash TWRP, un plug the phone and remove the battery. Replace the battery and use the button combination to boot into recovery which should be TWRP. In TWRP, flash Magisk or SuperSu to complete the rooting process and TWRP will stick."

Vielen Dank. Ich habe mein Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 jetzt mit LineageOS 18.1 (Android 11) geflashed. Allerdings brauchte es 3-4 Versuche bis TWRP dann endlich gestartet ist. Die Schritte zuvor über PC haben soweit alle funktioniert, es gab also keine Probleme mit ODIN. Bei den OpenGapps gab es beim installieren der stock-variante Probleme, es kamen Fehlermeldungen. Ich bin dann auf doe pico-variante ausgewichen, die ich Sicherheitshalber vorab auch auf der sd-card gespeichert hatte. Danach lief alles wie beschrieben. Natürlich hatte ich vorab die "richtigen" Dateien für mein Smartphone besorgt. Hat zwar alles 2-3 Stunden gedauert, weil ich vorher noch nie sowas gemacht habe, aber, es hat dann doch geklappt. Das "letzte" System war Android 5.0.1 drauf, ein Update war Offiziell nicht mehr möglich.

How do I go from Lineageos 15.1 to 18.1? Do I have to switch from 15.1 to 16 manually ?.
Then from 16 to 17.1? And again from 17.1 to 18.1
Where can I find such a transition tutorial to higher soft?

Waste of time. Don't do this. You need to compromise a lot of things after installing Lineage OS 18.1. Can't install apps, phone calls problems etc
