Seeing tanghulus 糖葫芦 go kind of viral in non-asian countries makes me so proud for some reason 😭 They're such a staple snack in China and I loved them growing up. Traditionally they're made from hawthorn, which adds a bit of sourness to the candy, and other hawthorn products are really good too!

Try them in China! There are many more varieties and the original versions are there too! Just a little suggestion, never buy tanghulus where they give you a little cup! The good tanghulu makers know that their tanghulu is extra crunchy in the coating and knows it wouldn’t melt. The ones that needs cups usually melts and sticks to your teeth

I MISS THOSE GRAPES SO MUCH! i can't remember the name for the life of me, but they're delicious korean grapes that are always sweet everytime and you sort of suck the flesh out of the peel, and you can use the peels to make more treats. i loved seeing them again!
