What kind of tool/brush is that at the beginning of the video that you are using to make the large center dot?

I am fascinated by your painting process!
I would LOVE to see someone (in person!) paint a stone so that I could see how you vary the size of your dots without changing paint tools/brushes... it looks like you are simply (NOT a SIMPLE technique, in actuality!) varying the PRESSURE to change the size of the dots... Is that close to being correct?
Are there any turorials on YT that describe how to do this painting process?
