very comprehensive overview in a relatively short video! Appreciate the spec sheets, diagrams and code examples. Your Arduino series is great.

I had a school project where I needed to build a robot. I was very confused wether I needed to connect external power to the motor shield or not. Your explanation at the end was superb. Thx bro! Im subscribing from now on :D

was very helpful this is the type of cord that i was searching for

Thanks for this. I think the 600ma you mention is limiting me. I can hear the motor PWM signal with a high pitch noise but the motor doesn't turn. I tried increasing voltage but it didn't work. I ran the 4.5v outlet direct to the motor and it span no problem but going through the board (jumper on or not) the shield just doesn't have the juice to make it even spin even at 255 power in the code.

Great video really well done. How did you solder the wires to the motor? And is it okay for the wire to be connected to sheild regularly no solder?

So if I place the shield over my Arduino I can't use the others pins(I mean I can) but I need to solder female pins on Shield, why they didn't already made with female pins?!

When I change the velocity of one motor without changing the others, their velocity is also changing 😢. It looks like the power of each motor is being dependent of each other. Do you know?

I have a question, I was making just like that but with bluetooth module, and everytime I turn on the battery the BT module will not blink but if I use the Arduino it works. Can you explain? Thanks

I really like your explanation it's very clear and easy to understand but can I use the other pins or add sensors and modules such as NRF24l01 radio module?

Hi Sir, first question: is it possible to connect a manual switching on this circuit using switch buttons to start&stop the circuit and then switch it back to automatic sequence when you are using arduino mega 2560?
second question: can i still connect the LCD display on the circuit to show which motors is running and how can i connect it?

There is voltage drop at each motor
I have a 10V supply
M1 has 3.6V
M2 has 2.5V
M3 has 2V
M4 has 1.5V
The motors r not running at full potential

Hello Sir
Why mine is hot, I use l293d for 2 servo, 2 12v water pump with 0.6 current load each and also 2 12v dc motor with 1.1 current load each 😅

@Robojax I have a question.
So I hooked up 4 6v dc motors to the motor shield, supplied them with 4 AA batteries(6V). M1 runs just fine, but M2 M3 M4 isn't getting any Power. How can I fix this? Please respond ASAP, thank you so much!

Hello, first and foremost, great video! I‘ve got a question however, how do i start and stop this sequence via the computer or something connected to the arduino via cable? I‘m looking forward to your response and am thanking you in advance.
