Panasonic GH4 at The Photography Show 2014

Mark Baber gives us an in-depth explanation of the Panasonic GH4. He runs through the differences between the GH3 and GH4 as well as the capabilities of the Lumix YAGH Interface Unit which enables uncompressed 4K output from HDMI and SDI outputs. He also touches on the variety of lenses available for the micro four-thirds lens mount.

BTW guys, at 8:55 Mr. Baber states that the new (tiny) 35-100 has f/2.8 aperture. I don't believe so... or will you confirm that? Thanks!!

looks beautiful but I wish panasonic would find a way to match the Canon's shallow depth of field.  Thats the reason the 5d is still used for video over the GH models by most professionals.

The Special Gallery of GH4 Movies appear to have jittery motion and blocking noise. Is this a transcoding issue or a problem with the codec used in the original recording?

I don't care too much about squeezing a 35-100 into as small a package as possible. I'd much rather have a 35-100 that's the same size as the old one, but an f/2.0 or f/1.8

I just returned my 35-100mm lens, as the OIS has a very nervous "jitter" that can't be fixed in post. I'm hoping Panasonic fixes this in the new lens, or makes a new version of the existing 35-100 lens.
