Made my way here doing Pokemon Cards research. I went to GameStop yesterday to get one of these for my son (M7) who’s just getting into Pokemon. I had no idea these things were so popular. The guys there almost laughed when I asked if they had any in stock. But a really nice teenage gal heard me explaining about my son and literally broke open the box she just bought and gave me a pack for my son! He was so happy when I picked him up from school later. Special thanks to that gal!

I actually have a better chance of getting a shiny starter in 10 resets than finding any prismatic out in the wild, winning even one pack would be a blessing.

6 booster bundles with ZERO major hits....what an effing nightmare. That's a hard pass on Prismatic. They turned Pokemon into full on gambling.

For everyone just "dying" to open their first pack of Prismatic, you are just trying to not feel left out. Its the most disappointing set. After you open a few packs, youll understand. Its not worth it. Just buy the singles.

Even “old” prismatic products would be new to me. The only time I even remotely came close to seeing anything in the wild, was mini tins at target. One box of them. Two grown adults fought over them while I stood there with my little one. Walked away empty handed but I’m SO glad they settled on 4 tins each while we stood there. The world is healing!

Just got my 6yo daughter started in the Pokémon World and she’s loving learning the TCG game. It’s fun and rewarding teaching the littles.

People complain about not getting any but scalpers will eventually bring down prices if we just stop buying them. And the reason all the cards are so expensive is because no one is opening packs and everyone is just reselling boxes. I’ve given up trying to buy or find it because the price per pack just isn’t worth it

Haha yall wanna hear something funny? I found out that the reason i cant find this near me is because some dude mapped out the route for the pokemon vending machines and follows them as they get restocked and then buys everything and goes to the next one after and repeats. He litterally stands behind the people as they restock them. Also gamestops near me dont sell at msrp anymore. So much fun!

If you see someone restocking you’d understand why its impossible to find in the wild. I caught a restock and 15 people were all lined up to get it. We all were allowed to get one prismatic product each. Better than nothing!
