I’d not heard of gouache, now I’m off to do some research. I think I’d love using these in my Coloring books. I saw that Coloring heaven Christmas issue in my local supermarket but passed on it as I already have the Hannah lynn images in her book and there weren’t enough other images in this that really appealed to me. Nice haul, Ann, enjoy them ..you deserve to treat yourself

I use guache like acrylic but with water to help blend it. The more water you use, the more it acts like watercolor.

Yes!! i love my Caran d'ache pablos 40, (hoping for i also use the Chromoflow 24 by Derwent "LOVE' them !!! they currently come in sets of 12 or 24, i am hoping for a larger set (72) or am finding Gouche as a challenge....(hoping), Merry Christmas to you!!! Enjoy your haul

I just started coloring and have Crayola. I’m terrified to try the really good pencils because I know that’s all I’ll want. 🙂

Let me know how the gouache goes. I have been interested in getting some, but I know how I am with paint. It never seems to get used, water based products are not my forte. I just need to practice with them, but always go back to what I know. I do need to buckle down and use some of my water based mediums. I feel bad they are just sitting and not being used. Girl, all my Posca paint pens go to the graveyard way before they should. I don't know why that is but they seem to get runny and water downed fairly quick. I use mine often too, but they still end up like that. I even shake them up and still no luck. Mostly the white pens for some reason. I have a black pen that is just fine, and it is far older and less used. Even my gold and silver are fine. No idea why it seems to be the white ones. I have been using the Signo white gel pen more often lately. And those Graphitint pencils I have been wanting forever, even had them in my cart at Blick in October for an anniversary gift from Jim, but took them out at the last minute. Again, water based, just not sure I will use them. Yet I just bought the Paul Rubens Metallic watercolors on a Black Friday deal. LOL I have that same 40 set of Pablos. I got them over the summer for my birthday from Jim. I really like them but don't use them as much. Your video has reminded me I really need to start using them more, they are really good pencils. I would never think Macys would have all those coloring supplies. Great find! Thanks for sharing all your goodies!

On amazon I got a set of 3 sigma white gel pens and 3 white podcasts pens for like 12$ for the sets of 3/3
