I love everything you favored for 2023. You’re absolutely right about the Pastel Colors because they enable contrast + shading. Luminance are gorgeous - I’d love to get the new colors.

Ohh!! Thank you for saying that the Supra's are softer that AD's. I prefer a softer option always!! And, I was just at Marshalls and saw those acrylic drawers and thought they looked like just the right size for my neo's!! So, I am glad you said that. I love your videos, they are short and informative! I can learn way much more from your half an hour video than hours of speed colorings or pencil swatching! I also love that we can get collection of wide range of colors from different sets without owning full sets by listening to your recommendation.
However, i have question. Where do you use your acrylic markers. You mentioned they are not as opaque as pens. Do you use it dor backgrounds or masking lines?

Great choices Maia! I'm saving up for either inktense or Albert durer, I haven't decided yet, I got the coliro watercolors, which I love and the jellyroll, also love because of you, I may pick up some of those dark colors by luminance, I'm always wishing I had a darker green or brown, Thank you for recommending those❤❤❤

Thanks for another awesome video. I agree about contrast in coloring. When people just color a bunch of pages with only alcohol markers I don’t find it amazing like colorists like you and Coloring with Kay, Amberlie etc. have a Happy Holiday. Big hugs from Canada 🇨🇦 ❤

It's always fun to know what other people's favorite art supplies are. I have a 24 set of Prismacolor and to be honest, I don't like them. They're small, they break a lot and too soft for my likings. Here in Europe they are very expensive, my Polychromos did cost me less. The Inktense pencils are my all time favorite, they sit in a wooden box and every time I open it I love the way they smell :)

Great video. I had no idea you could seal Pan Pastels with the Golden Satin Glazing Liquid. I'm assuming you could also do the same for regular pastels and pastel pencils. Does it leave any brush marks when it dries? You mentioned it would work for sealing the oil pastels too. Would love to see a video of it.💖💙💜💛🧡

Hi Maia lovely video hun I got most of the items you mentioned but I don’t have the Saturn glaze liquid.. I love my prismacolors too out of all of my colouring supplies I only got a few of the super colour pencils I’m slowly collecting as I just finished my pabilo set.. ❤❤❤😊😊😊xxx
