I purchased the full, advanced version of EVERY IZotope product in December, 2018 and now to upgrade the suite from 2.0 to 2.1 it costs $100 (on sale?!?!) just to gain Neutron 3? I haven't even opened up and tried out Neutron 2 yet! WTF!

Beautiful thing!!! I also like the Visual Mixer, but it still needs to be upgraded, e.g. grouping solo mute functions and you should be able tolock the dots so that they really stay in place when you move them. And in studio one the track names are not taken over - this hinders the workflow drastically

Why not make the Mix Assistance to also Auto Mix and Master all the tracks at the same time as repositioning them?? (Neutron + Nectar + Ozone × Mix Assistant = 1 Button for Auto Mix and Master)





I don't want to keep clicking The same button for every neutron that's up I wish there was just one button that does it all and I think it can be placed in mix assistant. One button to mix and master all the other Neutrons, Nectar, and Ozone that is connected to the mix assistant. Have it to listen to the entire track.

Hi, I'm demoing Neutron 3 Advanced and noticed a couple of things.

1) When I place Relay on a *mono source* (all my separate drums, for instance), I *cannot pan* them. I know widening them wouldn't make sense but panning does. I realize it is most likely because I'm inserting a mono version of the plugin on a mono track, so there is a technical limitation there. But what is the purpose of using the visual mixer if it's only for setting gain and all track nodes overlap in a single verticle line? It's hard to work with and frankly not very practical. If only it could interact with the DAW's pan control. *Can anything be done about this?*

2) Another thing. The primary reason I didn't like to use the Visual Mixer from Neutron 2 (despite wanting to LOVE it) was because it didn't allow you to hold a modifier key (e.g., CTRL) while click-and-dragging a node for *fine-tuned adjustments* (+/- 0.1 dB increments).

You can only snap them horizontally/vertically with SHIFT which is great too, and I appreciate the new dotted grid, but I was hoping for fine-tuning being an option in the new Visual Mixer. Hopefully you can add it with an upcoming update - would it be possible? :)

3) Perhaps the nodes in the Visual Mixer could have a *transparent (or semi-transparent) color fill* to align the white dot in the middle with the dots in the background grid? Yes, I do realize mixing is about listening, not looking at things, but we're talking about a "visual" mixer :P Besides, I have a major case of OCD and I'm a designer by trade.

4) ..aaand if the nodes could *display the pan value* just like they do gain. For instance "-10.32 dB, 63 L, Stereo.

5) Now for Neutron 3. I noticed that with Neutron 1 (I think) and it was definitely the case with Neutron 2 as well. Not Alloy 2 as far as I remember. I'd like Neutron to *remember my settings for "True bypass" and "Auto gain"* for every new instance of the plugin. It's most likely done purposly to conserve CPU, but I'd rather bypass the plugin with the host DAW (or remove it completely) to save resources.

I use Neutron on nearly all my tracks and I have to go into the settings menu for every single instance of N2/3 and tick/untick the two checkboxes for the desired effect. In every session. I like the fact that setting this option for one instance doesn't automatically mean that another has to use the exact same configuration. But a "global" switch/option would be excellent.

6) Copy and paste the exact same rant about *fine tuning in the new Neutron 3 EQ* . It was possible to make fine-tuned adjustments in N2 with a modifier key. Please add it back for Gain and Q :)

7) I noticed even with Neutron 2, Ozone 8, even Insight 2 and other iZotope plugins - they *take a while to open in Studio One* (tested on SO 4.1 and 4.5) compared to other third party plugins. Not just to load up initially, but when closing/opening them while they're already inserted. I'm a techie and my computer isn't bloated and I've got no such problem with any of your plugins in other DAWs (Fl Studio 20, Reason 10 or Logic Pro X). Visually they seem to lag a tiny little bit in Studio One as well, for instance with the masking meter engaged. Could you please look into it?

FYI, I'm on Studio One 4.5, Windows 10.

imagine you have to have a pretty powerful gpu and machine to run the neutron 3 without any issues... for some reason i prefer the older GUI. Mixing and balancing frequencies is part of the process. I still use Elements 2. Just fine and dandy
