Grimes Embraces A.I. Music and plans to release her own model!

Canadian singer-song writer "Grimes" has become the first mainstream musician to embrace the new A.I. Vocal Fad. In a tweet she made yesterday, she said she would split 50% royalties on any successful AI generated song that used her voice, the same thing she does with other collabs.

She went on to mention, "I think its cool to be fused with a machine, and I like the idea of open sourcing all art and killing copyright". As a huge fan and proponent of open source, you know thats something I was super excited to hear.

As far as the Grimes AI model goes, she is currently discussing the easiest ways to make stems available for training. But as of four minutes ago, it seems there is already models training as we speak! I'm super excited to see what people do once they get their hands on the Grimes AI model.

I agree with open source being a thing. I don’t think it’s too far of technology I’m just wondering how tired/ washed music will get. Will you ever be happy to hear other artists are collabing
