DJI Phantom 3 | 4K Footage

We were given a Phantom 3 about 1 month before it’s announcement to shoot footage for DJI. In the process of putting it through it’s paces, we decided that an abandoned steel mill would be the best place to see what this thing could actually do. This location is full of metal (typical of causing EMF/compass issues), and tight spaces. While the P3 did experience some compass issues due to its highly sensitive flight control system, we managed to squeeze it into some very tight spaces that would otherwise not be able to be shot with anything larger. I was very impressed with the 4K camera’s abilities in low light situations. The shadows are super black straight from the camera. It handled incredibly well in 15+ mph wind gusts as well. This is an amazing tool for any professional’s fleet.
