This method worked for me although there were a couple things not immediately clear to me from the video that may help someone else.
1) You must press down the camera settings dial right after the beeping starts.
2) Press and hold the linking button instead of just press and release.

This video saved my life and my phantom 3 advanced. I updated the transmitter first, then the quadcopter. But then I had a red light on my transmitter that would not go away. When I saw this video, I did what it told me to do and now my radio and quad both have a green light and I was out flying it again ... for the first time this season.

I just successfully linked a p3s to a gl300c but I was unable to link a p4 std to a gl300f though. will a p3 adv work with a gl300f?

How can I tell if my remote is defective? Status indicator is blue and nothing I do makes any change.

I did the seam but it didn't connect instead of phantom 3pro is has been updated

I found that 3 buttons pushed at the same time followed by the camera settings dial didn't get it to sync. When three were pushed it started the D-D-D, when the aircraft button was pushed with a paper clip it started flashing yellow on the arms. Only when three buttons plus the camera settings dial were PUSHED (four in total), then the sync happened.

Also note there are two levels of sync. One is between the RC and the aircraft. Another is between the RC and the tablet or phone connected by cable. If you get the green light status on the aircraft, but there is no camera view, then the RC and aircraft are linked, but the tablet or phone is not. You can verify if the link is made only with the aircraft by turning the gimble left and right on the RC. This means you can fly, but you will be blind. There are many proposed solutions to this on the Internet - in my case, none of them worked. I replaced my RC with a used one from AliExpress and it is ready to fly again with working camera view.

That didn't work at all, first step with the 2 buttons okay, but the camerasettings button didn't do anything. Luckly it's possible to start the process in the app instead.
