Honestly, working full-time this is the only way I've kept myself sane. Using art as a fun outlet and making what I want, however fast I want. It's freeing and wonderful and makes life exciting

I also think keeping your job while posting content, especially creative content, helps to lessen the anxiety when you have a creative block or if you just don't have the energy to create, edit and post videos. Some of my favorite youtubers, people who have around 1+ million subscribers, like definitely enough views to have quit their day job, but only as long as they post really regularly. Since the youtuber algorithm is so unforgiving, combined with the sponsorships that they have taken REQUIRE them to follow through their the contracts they sign and post a new video by a certain time, content creation does become their actual real job and taking a much needed break really not be an option for them sometimes. Idk, I just think I have noticed certain youtubers whose videos I really enjoy appearing a little stressed out at times but still feeling forced to keep creativing videos, and it makes me genuinely hope they're doing ok.

People -- including myself until very recently -- assume the end goal of posting something on social media is always to get to a point where you can reach enough people to be able to sell/monetize your "thing" (sell templates, teach classes, partner with brands, etc.). I miss old-school YouTube where the only option you had was to post a bedroom guitar cover or a skit you made with your friends just for the sake of wanting to share it with others, not because it was a step toward a career. To everyone out there who just wants to share their passion, I say "you do you."

I don't even have a job rn, but I still believe that passion has to be what drives these things... You can also feel when someone has lost the interest, but keep making content because money.. 😅
I'd love to be somewhat consistent in content, I've got a million ideas, but not so much that it's boxing me in and making my life unflexible. And I *hate* editing videos. 😂 I'll probably end up with 147 unedited ones. xD
And especially art has to be for fun or you'll dread it.
