How to: Reset the Odometer of S830 & SW900 LCD Displays (Less than a minute)

Can anyone tell me how I factory reset the display please. I pressed the wrong button leaning on it and my speed messed up along with other things

Yes, all well and good, but how do I reset the #TRIPCOUNTER to 0000 after each trip? I never want to re-set the odometer, just the TRIP COUNTER. Nowhere can I find that always useful and much-needed piece of information. Nowhere in the manual does it explain that. Can you advise me on this?

My S830 display was showing 48 miles total . The next day after I turned it back on the miles dropped to 45 miles, strange. This happens twice. Any clue what is the problem ?

But how do I SET the ODO a given distance? for example if I installed a new display?

What I want to know is why p07 at 1 does not read my speed at ALL but setting it to anything else reads those speeds INCORRECTLY. Anything but 1 makes the display read as max. Might be time to replace the display? Seems to regulate the motor which is stupid.
