Making sliver from surgical bt cotyon on your own is a great idea. It looks whiter than storebought sliver. But, it also looks really hard to do.

Is the process different if you use cotton balls?
I am going to learn how to spin cotton this year or in 2021 at home. A lot of the resources for spinning nowadays are written for people who have easy access to prepared cotton fiber and spindles. I'm not one of those. I really appreciate that you make accessible guides like this. Thanks a lot.
