How to Increase Maximum Upload File Size in WordPress 2021 tutorial

If you have a very low upload limit size, it will ultimately limit you from uploading large files to WordPress, including plugins and themes. It would indeed be an obstacle to building a heavy website. Therefore, one should immediately increase the WordPress upload size limit.

Thankyou for this Tutorial, I eventually had success.
Trying to import a site using WP All In One Migration.
Nothing worked (64mb Limit still showing) until I installed PlugIn: WP Increase Upload FileSize.
Changed limit to 512mb. Worked like a charm.

Where you increase the size can you just write in whichever number you like? Say for example could you put in 200MB?

I installed the “Wp Maximum Upload File Size” plugin, updated the size but when I try to upload an image less than 128 mb it still says: "The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini. - Please help!

the plugin one works on all 7, 0 versions and above so just use that
