Thanks mate! I just bought the driller with dc18sd charger and my first impression after connecting both included batteries was that something is wrong with either charger or batteries as I only got red solid light. The included manual do not explain how the light behaves, I thought that there is diode under each coloured circle and you showed that there are only two diodes and circles beside markings are just a legend. You saved me from going back to Castorama tomorrow and asking stupid questions :). Cheers.

Good as they are, these have to be the only battery chargers that require a tutorial if you want to decrypt the display.

From Aliexpress or ebay these chargers only charge to 19 to 19.5V and shut down. (Batteries can't charge properly) Original charger charges to 20V and then shuts down so I use regulated voltage charging when charge to 20.2 V this will go to monitoring mode and for the last 2 years I have no problem, works fine for me.
