Through the Rock Band Music Store, more than 1700 songs will be available on day one, including tracks from the series’ incredible back catalog of music, fully updated to include the new gameplay features in Rock Band 4. Players can rock to these tracks and enjoy new Freestyle Guitar Solos, Freestyle Vocals, and Dynamic Drums Fills, even while touring the world with their band in the game’s new expanded campaign. Some of these comments really disappoint me. I for one am looking to play a music game again on next...I mean current gen PS4 like Rock Band 4 & Guitar Hero Live. Music games are not dead. People just want them to die cuz they prefer mindless shooters like COD & Battlefield. A gamer has to have variety to play. Music games is one of them; along with action, adventure, fighters, puzzle and interactive games.

The thing is they could have made this something special. They should have at least started where Rock Band 3 left off. Online co-Op band play is a REQUIREMENT. Add the ability to play the drum part on the keyboard controller for those who are physically unable to use the drum controller, or just for people who don't wish to shell out $200 for the drums. ... ... How about adding a mode where you can design the game around you own music tracks? I played with this many years ago on a PC Guitar Hero clone and it was a lot of fun. Let's face it, there are songs we all enjoy which will NEVER see the light of day on this game. Why not give us an edit mode? ... ... ... Also, I haven't checked, but I'm willing to bet this also doesn't include a FREE DRUM mode for people who shelled out all of the money on a drum kit. This game is extremely bare bones and several steps backwards IMO. It's unfortunate since its one of my favorite franchises.
