Walking around my new Lifetime Yukon Angler 11.6 Kayak that I have set up for bass fishing around Arkansas.

Just purchased this kayak. I love it. Very stable, sitting or standing. Good about handling lake chop or boat wake. Tracks.well and paddles easily. Great budget kayak.

❤that thanks was my first kayak spent more on mine.Got my yak was from Dicks Sporting goods. but everything you said was very true. Unfortunately I was probably too rough on mine extreme fishing. And broke it within two months. Dicks sporting good was amazing gave me every penny back. The seat was the most amazing thing about it. Most comfortable ever.

Nice setup. I bought a Lifetime Tamarack Angler last August and now that it's winter I've completed my upgrades. I have an Ozark Trail tackle bag from Wal-Mart that I take the trays out and use them on my kayak crate. It was fun doing the mods and upgrades. I just cannot wait to get it out on the water to see how they work.

I have the same yak and the same fish finder. Love them both. Only thing I’m trying to get used to is the more difficult loading, transporting, and slower paddling because my last kayak was a 10 foot sit in and it weighed half as much.

With the transducer mounted inside hows your water temp reading accurate? And w hat did you glue the transducer to the inside of the hull with??? I just bought one this week

What kind of mount did you use for the fish finder? Where did you mount the transducer. Did you seal the holes where you ran the wires through? Does that transducer come with the fish finder or where can I get one? Thanks

From all the videos that I've seen with the transducer mounted in the kayak, one if the major downsides is that you can't get a true water temp reading cause the transducer isn't in the water and the plastic itself is like a isolation and doesn't get as cold as the water so what did you do different then the dozens of others that I watch do the same technique and couldn't get there's to read? Thank you

What brand mount did you purchase for your Garmin Striker unit??? Haven't seen that one yet.

I like this one or a 14’ er with a few modifications I have in mind; it’ll be perfect.

I’m thinking of buying two and connect them with a 8’ span and add a 14’ sail, a drop in rudder and attachable full length weighted keels.

That’s a $2, 000. dollar 16’ catamaran. The extra 2’ will be an attachable trim board on the rear.

I wonder if anyone ever converted two Kayaks into a catamaran?

NICE!! I just bought the Yukon Angler 116 but for the life of me I cant find scupper plugs, seems the rear well is a different size. Can you tell me which ones you got and if their a good fit please?
