Living Full-time in a nuCamp Cirrus 820 Truck Camper | 6 month review

We've been living in our new truck camping set up for 6 months now so we figured we'd give you our honest thoughts. Our truck is a 2019 F-450 paired with a 2024 Cirrus 820. After 6 months and 20,000+ miles, here are our honest thoughts on our both truck and truck camper.

Thanks guys, that set up is awesome! My favorite part is actually having fresh, black, and grey tanks. They aren't huge, but for a truck camper it's nice just that you have them and the flexibility they give you. The black and grey are as big as the tanks in my little class C. Thanks again!

We were talking about how noisy the A/C (s) are when we were cut short by other attendees. Was told recently by someone in the rv business, that rooftop heat exchangers for rv(s) are going to be a thing within the next couple of years.

What brand was the super quiet a/c you were talking about? And just in case you didn’t know, you can run a/c while driving to cool camper down an hour or two before you get to your destination. Batteries are usually full at that point, so it kind of like free cooling, lol..

What about air conditioning and are you able to run it very long off grid? I travel with 🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛. I’m looking at options in my current truck camper to help keep it cooler in extreme heat when I am gone for 4-6 hours safely. Like your setup! The storage in your truck bed makes me think about upgrading❤️! My truck is a 2017 Ram Mega Cab Longhorn and TC is a 2018 Northstar Arrow. Love both but am itching a bit to upgrade.

Do you carry a spare tire? If so, where do you store it? How does the alde system do below freezing? What is the coldest wet camping you have experienced?

QUESTION 1: You said 600 Ah lithium. Is that from the factory I.e. 100 Ah standard + 500 Ah factory upgrade? Or did you do something custom?

QUESTION 2: Will you be switching to super singles?
