My worse one, I had 4 trades open, risking a total of 1.5%. Because of slippage, I ended up losing 6%. MFF was just like "that's how it is. Get another challenge"

He’s not lying, the slippage was crazy on MFF

This is one of the reasons I prefer position/swing trading. Slippage doesn’t affect you as bad.

Normally you shouldn't got slippage on a CFD cause there is no real counterpart in the other side

On US30, the stop loss was triggered 30 pips above the stop level at MFF.

They were horrendous for this. As well as the 10pm spreads. The amount of times I got caught out by that was awful.

I remember my forex funds slipped me by 30 pips on my live account. I couldn't believe it, I emailed support and they made it out like it was my fault. 😢

This is exactly why you shouldn't use prop firms.

10 pip stop loss and you get 15, you need to change your broker lol

That's what you get for trading 25 lots in 5m chart.

Something similar happened to me. I was trading on an MFF account and the slippage and spreads was so bad I thought I would have to stop scalping my entire life.

My SL would activate at 3 pips away from its real price level and I had to close my tp manually at a very bad price cause it wouldn’t react even tho it was 2 pips away. All that with a very bad slippage so more negative RR.

I continued trading on MFF till months later I found out about other brokers and prop firms. I was winning a lot more and my profits were bigger. I never bought a single MFF challenge since that.

And then, News came and it all turned to be a fraud and manipulated. So I always knew there was something wrong with this prop firm.

This would happen to you anyway. Slippage is an issue if you place big orders like 20 lots or more. I once had a 100 pip slip with a prime broker during a news event. Do not expect the prop firm to offer better conditions. You have to accept that your scalping strategy has a position size limitation to work. Swing traders do not have these type of issues, because our stop loss is 50-100 pips away so a 5 pip slip is nothing to us. MFF is doing nothing wrong here, you would get that same situation with any broker with your own money. Learn to trade better and stop using prop firms as a slot machine. Unfortunately these type of wannabe traders are ruining the prop firm opportunity for everyone of us. MFF hasn't scammed anyone, I read the document fully.

From the very beginning I knew this was gonna be a disaster. No one takes on millions of dollars of real risk. For a measly $500. $500 is pocket change. It’s a lot to poor people. So that’s why they fall for it. And a poor person’s hair $500 is more than enough to access somebody else’s money. Like Bro no

The reason why all of us the happened to him is because of what we call spread, if he was trading cross currencies the house would put a larger spread on trades. Learn about spreads it's very fucking important
