Whole album feels like a ride back home on any kind of public transportation after a heavy day at work and having deep thoughts about life, relationships and where you’re standing in general. A feeling of emptiness but still you now that there is life still in you. Pure masterpiece.

This is a really dignified way to express anger, I love it. I think you'll keep releasing great albums well into old age because the music isn't coming from a short-lived or warped sense of hype or energy but just a genuine conviction and love for what you're doing, and once you're there there's nothing but death that can stop you. I hope you're enjoying it for what it is, because sometimes that part is harder than it should be.

It's kind of magical to grow up with an artist, to look back on their discography and to see how much you have both grown in the past dozen of years -- non-linear, challenging, and sometimes starting again where you began but always ending up exactly where and most importantly who you were supposed to be all along. I am grateful that King Krule has been a soundtrack to the crushing weight of being alive and all the moments of joy in between. I hope this soundtrack continues over the course of at least the next few dozen of years.

This song hit so different live bro, the feeling of being surrounded by people you don't know, while being in New York all alone, phone on 3%, no idea how I was gonna make it home late at night in a city I didn't know. All that worry went away when this song was playing. There was something etheral about it. I was just living in the moment, not a care in the world. Felt like I was ment to be in that moment feeling those things with all those people, everyone was where they were supposed to be. Thanks for the night King Krule :)

I love the coda on this song. That chord that lingers as he sings “if only it was warmth that you held” is so full of foolish hope, like clinging to whatever you can grab. Though the resolve is reality crushing those ideals. And it just loops over and over and over. The dichotomy of the hopeful and the sensible clash with more intensity every time it repeats. Some relationships feel just like this.
