The Prime Wash bay leaves water spots. Use Blue Beacon when you can.

The art of logging will take time.

Learn your fleet manager, he or she has 50 trucks. Make sure you got hours to get to your 01 and 90. Remember to include washout and fuels.

Use that fuel optimizer map. What they send might not be the best. I usually got 200.00 dollars a week off my fuel per week. I also around 58 miles per hour. Keeping my RPM around 1100.

There's no problem doing PC from the motel to the terminal. (and visa versa) Especially if you're doing personal stuff on the way.

I don’t know your ELD rules there, but some will allow you to edit your duty status. So, if you need to you can go back and change a on duty to off duty (for example). Does Prime allow you to do this? Every company I have worked for does. Maybe something to look into if you are unsure. Thanks for posting your journey.

actually, your supposed to be on duty yard movement when you are moving around the terminal anything you're doing there like truck was and going to get parts and supplies from the shop is all on duty things. so really the only thing you could use P.C. for is going to Walmart you would have to switch on to driving status going from Walmart to the terminal. Prime experienced driver here just a helpful hint

Did you get a new truck? You should have PC back to Walmart then to the terminal. I PC around Springfield all the time even around the terminal to get an mty. You don't want to start ur clock until you need to. And use PC when ur empty at the 90. Do ur empty macro first then change to PC and find a place to park and put the address in the navigation system and go. Just don't go too far but OKC has many places to park at. PC does not affect ur clock at all. I even use it to get to my 90 while on break when I'm only half a mile away. The only time you can't use PC is when ur doing a split sleeper. Once you know the rules of PC just be smart about using it and it's ur best friend. They should have told you the three or four rules of PC in logs class. Good luck

get a radio scanner cb to pass time most shippers use gmrs radios you can talk to them when you are at dc

You can do the two hour part of your split while driving on PC as far as I know. The 8 hour has to be sleeper.

What you should have done was after those 3 mins are gone and your out of hours after they unload you turn on PC to drive to a safe haven parking area for your 10 hour break perfectly legal to do if the receiver does not allow you to park overnight, anyways your doing great you have a good humble attitude I can tell you're a hard worker that's dedicated, I've been doing this for quite a while I also went to Prime I have my authority now and own my truck and trailer, rem to always plan ahead on everything parking, weather, your clock, etc... the guys that plan the best are the ones that last 👌
