I have heard this song sung so many times by many Great Artists, but Willi's rendition and voice has brought the real picture out what this great artist, writer Charles Aznavour was expressing either of himself or someone he knew. I didn’t think anyone could cover this song after Roy. But Roy was still relatively young when he sang it. Willie sings it with age and experience in his voice. I don’t even watch the video I just close my eyes and listen to the nuances in his voice. I always enjoy his lead on the old gut string guitar it has such beautiful tone.
