Cloud Native Summit - Introduction to Dapr - A Distributed Application Runtime / Xiaodi Yan

Today we are experiencing a wave of cloud adoption. Many organisations start to migrate to distributed microservice architecture. But it is hard to become a distributed system expert, nor should you have to. Developers want to focus on business logic, while leaning on the platforms to imbue their applications with scale, resiliency, maintainability, elasticity and the other attributes of cloud-native architectures.

This is where Dapr comes in. Dapr makes building distributed applications much easier by providing a collection of language agnostic building blocks that can be used in any cloud or on-prem environment. In this session, we will discuss the various build blocks it supports, and see some demos of how you can make use of it in your applications.
