Use the Goal Seek Feature

Excel wants to know if you have goals. No, it's not gong to be your new guidance counselor or your surrogate parent. BUT it will be your new data analysis best friend! Lets say you have some formulas put together on how much you can afford for a new car and have all this other figures that support it like the purchase price, loan amount, interest rate, maintenance cost, etc. You want to play out different scenarios of purchase price and how it would affect your loan amount. Or maybe you want to see the different interest rates to see what type of a loan you can get. You can put together a set of calculation and then type in different figures to get to your target, but why not just have Excel do that for you? That's where the goal seek feature comes in. Give it a goal and it will "seek" the variable that you want changed to get there. Sound great, but a bit complicated so see the video to get an idea of what it's about.
