I don't get the american obsession with having to move out. If you can build a live while living with your parents, saving on resources cause you don't have the financial burden of your own flat on your shoulders, why would you need to move? Especially in the case of generational wealth like a house?

I can admit it is kinda weird that Howard is still living with his mother, but he is right. He is an adult with a successful career and its his life, he should ba able choose how he lives it without everyone giving him shit about it.

Family properties used to be a thing. When the family grew, it was time to build another house on the property. Family lived on the property for safety and shared finances.
We have lost sight of whats really important and thats family and building generational wealth. The family ranch or farm is still alive here in the small towns.
