I show you how to change the region (country) on a Sony Smart TV (Android TV). This should work on Sony Android TV XBR Model series, XBR.... 800h, 900h, 950h a8h, z8h, a9f, a9g, x850g, x950g, x9f, andn z9g series. Hope this helps.

I don`t have the region ! Anything else is there though! Sony XH9505 Android 9.

If your tv isn't showing region and you want to set time automatically according to your region.
Goto
Setting => date and time => time => set time zone
Now click on your country time zone to set time according to your country

Hi we have Sony smart Tv (2017) bought in US. Now we recently moved to Canada and I’m unable to get Amazon prime video app on Sony TV. How do I get this one on my TV without external device? Also how do I change the country to US so that it loads all other apps?

TCL BeyondTV5, my region setting has inexplicably been placed in the _channel scan menu_ and only allows me to select between US, Canada, and Mexico. Languages are similarly restricted to only English, Spanish, and French. Seriously?
