OMG, Alan, count this one as a brilliant success! The love, the energy, the vibe that flowed between all that participated was genuine. It was truly like watching a real family reuniting (how great was it to see Robert Newman's face when Ashley Peldon clicked on - he was overcome with emotion). All the Marahs look and act like they could be sisters, all complementing one another with their similarities and their differences, covering the entire spectrum of unique personalities found in a family (the talented, the creative, the intellectual, the spiritual, etc). A joy to watch. And wonderful to see Ashley all grown up and happy with her life - it all started with you, Ashley. Thanks to all the Marahs and their Mom and Dad for making this happen. Oh, and of course, you too, Alan.

Stumbled upon this today, and what a joy! My grandmother listened to GL on radio in the 50s and brought it into my life in the 80s. I got in trouble in 4th grade for using the name Morgan in a story. The teacher argued it was a boys name. When I told her my inspiration came from a daytime soap, she said I should not be watching it at my age (Catholic school teacher). LOL It was a time i treasure though, spending that hour every day in the summer with my grandmother. I was devastated when they announced it was going off the air. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Kim and Robert at one of the luncheons in NY when I was in high school (maybe 1986 or 1987). Later in 200, I think, I attended another one and gave Kim a picture of her daughter I had taken at the earlier event. She got tears in her eyes. They were so nice! Have been enjoying watching her son, Jake, on Animal Kingdom. Thank you so much for posting this. 😍🤩😍🤩

Reva and Josh worked because Kim and Robert had fun with their roles and obviously enjoyed one another. Kim's fountain scene made me feel so uncomfortable because it was to real and the reactions so totally honest. Kudos to the both of you.

Too bad you forgot to ask them (especially Kim) about Reva's firstborn son who was both Josh's nephew and stepson, Dylan and his portrayer, Morgan Englund.

I loved seeing their reactions to each Marah appearing, especially when Josh saw Ashley. So sweet!

Marah was definitely a daddy's girl and they always had a strong bond. Like you and Robert said, Marah was much more fleshed out (regardless of who played her) in comparison to Shayne.
