Sam Hulick - Uncharted Worlds [Remix]

Synths galore! This is my remix of the Mass Effect Galaxy Map music, 'cos the best part of that game is exploring the galaxy. I kinda rushed finishing it off, so it's mastered pretty terribly, but it's loud so it'll do :P I'm not the best at making synths, but hopefully the intense amount of processing make them sound okay :)

I think the image is just concept art from the game's production so hopefully that's okay.

7:07 I had to stop and play it back to make sure I wasn't imagining that there was a voice-over reciting the opening of H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds. The influence of that novel is blatently apparent in the third game. The reapers walk along the ground shooting their "heat rays" and blaring their loud horns.

The entire series is basically "The Seven Samurai" (Reapers are returning after a long absence to "harvest" the space faring races of the galaxy) mixed with "War of the Worlds" with a strong Lovecraft influence.
