I wish my generation had more respect for great music like this. It's not "old people music" it's great music!

When you say Petula Clark, people immediately think 'Downtown'. Personally, I think this is her best song. A beautiful, classic 60s melody. An absolute favourite.

Love this tune. Pet's voice is pure 60's. Simple song, but from an innocent time.

I saw Petula in concert 5 yrs ago in Beverly ly Hills, She sunded better than in 64. I am grateful that us boomers have a musical treasure in Petula and her music catalog.

The production of this song is amazing. Her crystal clear double tracked voice, the lush but clean orchestration and backup singers wow

Just one of the many, many tunes that make me grateful YouTube doubles as a phone jukebox.

I live near a subway line, and my 2.5-year-old son loves watching and riding the subway. He also loves this song because it mentions his beloved subway. He used to sleep on the subway as a baby in his stroller. ❤️

This had such a powerful impact on me in the sixties. It still takes me back and speaks to my heart. How wonderful that such great songs existed and we can now relive them to a degree.

I am in Sept 21. The radio played her hits incessantly. I am 73 and still enjoying them. Thanks utube.

Why the views did not reach a million, this is one of the unforgetable classic of the 60's. The era wherein we consider that music is really music, not today's crap music.

Just as good today as it was all those years
