My favorite feature of the knife tool is [C] for angle constraint and [Z] for cut-through. Thank you for the new tutorials..!! Blender rocks..!!

Oh thank heavens for this tutorial. I was going out of my mind trying to figure out how to do this. it's so counter intuitive to cancel an operation with right click.

In my latest version, right-clicking doesn't cancel the cuts, also hitting 'e' does nothing. Maybe these changed in time or maybe because he's using right mouse button set-up. I think right mouse choice is counter intuitive, also, a standard in blender would be better for everyone using it.

they need to improve the knife tool, make more interactive with undo step confirmation after each cut, loopcutting with modifier key...etc maya has one of the best called Multi-cut tool which combines many functionalities in just one tool not like blender with seperate tools.

when ever I use the knife tool anything else is disabled. I literally can't do anything else. I can do cuts as many as I want. But nothing else. I can't disable the knife tool, I can't safe the project or even close the project. With the knife tool selected I can't do anything. It is so useless und buggy for me.

For the beginner, you leave out button clicks. Bisect, draw the line, check fill and clear inner/outer, then what?

I am using Blender 3.0 alpha and I am trying to slice beveled molding I created at exactly 45 degrees to miter the corners. Is there a way to set a precise cut?

I am familiar with the shortcuts mentioned in the help docs, however, how do I toggle off cut inside face? Most of the time I only want to cut existing edges, so a way to toggle that would be very helpful.

"go to the quick menu" literally no other options show up and knife never appear
