Learn how to turn a basic wood sawhorse and turn it into the ULTIMATE, adjustable workstation. Using pipe clamps and a simple, foot activated lever, the height of the cutting surface can be easily raised to lowered to match your work surface. Four different, DIY removable and interchangeable inserts make working with almost any material much easier. This is a cheap and easy way to create outfeed support for large tools like a table saw, jointer or planner.

This is a simple, afternoon project, perfect for beginners!

Turning your saw horsies into saw-stallions... Love the pipe clamps idea. I think I will be re-building my store-boughts into work horses. A great idea in a small shop. A thumbs up and a subscribe..

This is awesome, I have been looking for adjustable saw horse ideas to serve multiple purposes in my small workspace. I think my search is over. Thank you.

For breaking down 4 x 8 sheet goods, you could run 3 each 2 x 4’s between the sawhorses on the neoprene inserts to create a great sacrificial grid. Then set your blade depth just like you did when using the foam sheet. It’s the safest and most stable way to cut down plywood, MDF and other difficult to handle sheet goods. Especially if you make yourself a rip guide for your circular saw. (There are several excellent video’s on making a simple plywood guide that will allow you to cut down ply to exact dimensions.)
Your horses came out great, they are so functional! You’re so right, you will be finding new uses for them for years. Thanks for sharing them with the community. Cheers!

I have looked at many shop project videos, and I really like yours, especially the way you provide links to other people's projects and do not try to take credit for the design yourself. Kudos to you for that. I liked and subbed, and am looking forward to viewing your homebuilding project! Thanks from North Florida on the banks of the Suwannee River.

great idea and video. One idea could be if you used the sawhorse length wise an attachment could be a t-track with a flip stop for using with miter saws.
